Gown Sleeve Puffs
The top of the silk chemise sleeves can be pulled up to make puffs through
the short cap sleeve. This sleeve is made from separate bands of trimmed fabric.
There are five bands of three different lengths with the center being the longest
and the outer two the shortest.
To help keep the puffs in place I added some grossgrain strips under each of
the five bands, this created narrow slits between the ribbons that works mich
like a tissue box, you can pull the silk through but it doesn't slip back. The
ribbon strips also holds the cap sleeves shape.
