This corset has a period shape but, was changed to lace down the front to make
it possible for the client to get into it by herself, which is always a problem
at faire no servents. I created the pattern with the tape and tee shirt method,
keeping in mind the seam lines of the Elanora of Toledo gown. After making
the corset
then the corset pattern became the pattern for the underbodice and
so
on. After each layer I would add 1/4 to 1/2" more seam allowance.
