Crimson and Burgundy Elizabethan Detail

In this picture you can see the excellent job beading that Patty on her gown. She added red glass faceted beads and pearls. Which add to but don't over whelm the trim. You can also see just how nicely the iron on trim adheres to the fabric. It is important to use a lot of heat, pressure and steam to get it to work but, it's possible with a good home iron. The beads also help to hold it down over the long run and Patty will also take a small stitch with a metallic or clear thread on each loose edge for extra security.
