Nobel Women's Elizabethan Flat Cap with Pearls

This cap was also popular in ElizabethÍs reign with women but in this smaller size. It is being shown with a large decorated (pearled) braided bun, high enough on the head to support the back of the hat. I created the pearl decorations on the crown to match two period portraits one of Mary Queen of Scots and one of Margaret Douglas "her mother in Law". Both ladies had the pearls but Mary's brim was very narrow, maybe 1" or a little less.
