Womens Victorian Tall Hat Pattern
![]() |
This pattern has two views. View A is for a fabric covered buckram hat with an asymmetrical crown and a rolled symmetrical brim that can be tipped down on the edge. View B is for a straw plait over buckram with a symmetrical crown and an asymmetrical brim that is pulled up on the wide side and down on the narrow side. Note: The brim on this hat is shaped, you will need to soften and drape buckram over a brim mold that you make from a 10" styrofoam wreath. This is really very simple. Costume by Gail Nichols, Model Laurie Hall, Hats and Photos by Lynn McMasters, Lighting help by Laura Dippold.
