View B hat

View B a Bustle era hat with a bandeaux and a small crown. It can be worn as shown or rotated 90 degrees. It can also be worn without the bandeaux and a little more forward. This hat is being Modeled by Thena MacArthur.

This is a Mid 1880's style hat, with an arched turned up brim and a very small crown. Below is the same hat with the straw dyed violet and violets added to the underbrim.

View A version 1 of the hat with stripe ribbon and black silk fabric bows, it also has some faux bird wings and tails in both black and white. There is also quite a bit of fine black net.

Below is a close-up of the back edge of the hat that shows the two different trims, a pleated trim on the underbrim edge and a thin braided trim on the upperbrim edge.

View A version 2 a fabric covered version of this hat. The top two have a faux wing and the bottom two have some faux forked tails.

Below is a close-up of the back edge of the hat that shows the two different trims, a pleated trim on the underbrim edge and a gathered frayed edge trim along the upperbrim edge. The netting puffs that fill the back bandaux area is made by using two different shades of blue that match the shades of blue in the pleated trim and the frayed edge trim.

Another photo of View A shown here being modeled by Claudine.
This is a very similar hat but without a bandeaux to lift it in back. It is worn forward on the head. There could be a crown under that pleated fabric but perhaps not. Note that it is being worn as a bonnet with ribbon ties.
