1890's Corset Front & Back View

I created a pattern for this corset with the help of Norah Waugh's "Corsets and Crinolines. It has a pattern for this period. I did not just blow up the pattern. I used the tee shirt and tape method to get a good fit on my client. The pattern in Waugh showed just where to bone each section and what each section should be shaped like. There are 5 pattern pieces on both side and I doubled that so I could sew channels for the boned. The bones slide between the layers.
